Poker is a card game where players place bets in order to start the game. The bets can be either blind or ante bets. The dealer then shuffles and cuts the deck of cards and deals them one at a time to the players. These cards may be dealt face-up or face-down, depending on the version of the game being played. Five of a kind is the highest possible hand in poker

Betting intervals in poker
In poker, betting intervals determine the range of bets players place. Each interval begins with a player making a bet. Each player then raises or puts in the same number of chips. If a player does not have a winning hand, they must call or drop their bet. They also lose any chips that are in the pot.
The length of the betting interval in poker depends on the type of game being played. Depending on the number of players, betting intervals can last anywhere from two seconds to seven minutes. During this time, the first player to act places a bet and then each player to their left must raise their bet proportionately to their previous bet. This cycle continues until there is only one player remaining. At the end of the betting interval, the winner is the one with the highest chip total.
