Different Types of Dominoes

Dominoes are a family of tile-based games. These rectangular tiles have two square ends marked with a number of spots. These spots indicate the number of pieces on each end. Origin

Rules

The basic game of domino involves two players and seven dominoes. Players alternate picking up their own and opponents’ tiles, and when a match is made, the player with the highest score wins. However, variations of the game exist that vary the scoring criteria. For example, some allow doubles to be played anywhere along the line of play, while others allow doubles only on one tile. The game is won by the player with the highest score at the end of a round.

There are two basic strategies for playing domino. First, the player must make use of their opponent’s dominoes. To do this, he must place a tile on his hand that matches the open end of his or her domino. Second, he or she can play a domino in the horizontal or vertical direction. The game is won by the first person to score 120 points.
