The hongkong prize is an award that honors people who make a difference in society. Winners receive a cash prize and the opportunity to visit top research facilities in Hong Kong. Previous winners have included people using technology to help homeless individuals and artists who interpret human rights concepts into fine art concepts.

The BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize is a non-governmental merit-based award sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, open to individual scientists who contribute to scientific advancement through their research with significant societal benefits in fields like artificial intelligence and robotics, life and health, new materials and energy production, advanced manufacturing and FinTech. Winners will also gain access to Hong Kong’s premier research facilities, allowing them to network with local scientists and advance their careers in the field.

This competition is open to students of secondary level at Hong Kong. The contest requires participants to submit their work online and a panel will select the winning entry. Top ten finalists will receive a monetary prize and be invited to an awards ceremony. In addition, they will also have the chance to develop their writing skills and explore Asian culture.

In the short term, the Hong Kong History Book Prize seeks to recruit new volumes into the Royal Asiatic Society’s Hong Kong Studies series; in the long term it aims to promote scholarship of this area of study. It also aims to encourage more young authors to devote themselves to researching Hong Kong History.

This prize is given to people who have made contributions to world civilisation and inspired others towards creating a harmonious society. Past winners have included selfless volunteers and good Samaritans, including a man who used technology to assist homeless people and a professor who developed liquid biopsy that speeds up cancer diagnosis.

The Hong Kong Prize was created in 2012 as an international competition that highlights the unique values of Hong Kong. The prize is open to secondary school students who are enrolled at secondary level education institutions in Hong Kong and will be judged by a panel of experts. In order to be eligible, applicants must have a high grade point average and have an excellent command of both Chinese and English. In addition, they must demonstrate a strong passion for learning and a deep appreciation of Chinese culture. The winners will be announced in June and the winners will be rewarded with a monetary prize, a plaque at an awards ceremony, shopping vouchers and other perks. The competition is open to residents of Southeast Asia, mainland China and around the world.
